...RESEARCH INTERESTS...
My research is primarily targeted at the behavior, ecology and conservation of fishes.  However, I have broad interests in interspecific interactions not targeted at a specific taxonomic group.  Currently, I am studying the reproductive behavior of threatened species of southwestern U.S. minnows.  I am particularly interested in how species-specific behavior contributes to community patterns and to our understanding of problems in conservation biology.
