BIOL 4890 Instructions for Poster Presentations
The Fall Semester 2009 Poster Session will be Monday 30 November 2009. Held in Russell Union room 2047
You must submit your poster for printing on or before Monday 16 November to ensure that it is printed in time and that the Biology Department will cover the cost of it printing. Dr. Mondor and Dr. Nayduch are coordinating the poster session for fall semester 2009.
Instruction for assembling a Biology 4890 Poster: Please review the files below and follow all instructions carefully. It is strongly recommended that you select one of the two styles in the example PowerPoint files below. After selecting which style you like, download that PowerPoint file using 'Save As'. Name the file something that begins with your last name and 4890 (e.g. Poindexter4890Fall2009.ppt). You may then simply type in and/or cut and paste your text and graphics into the file saved as yourname4891Fall2009.ppt. Doing this will ensure that you have the proper layout and formatting. The instruction sheet re-enforces the formatting info embedded in the example Power Point files.
