The Georgia Southern Herbarium was founded in 1956 by Drs. John H. Boole, Jr. and Tully S. Pennington. The herbarium has grown from one case representing specimens collected during natural history class outings to 79 cases with the contributions of Drs. Bozeman, DeWolf, and Drapalik.
