Teaching Principles of Biology I, Principles of Genetics, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Human Genetics, Molecular Genetics Research Interests Research in my lab focuses on the ticks and tick-borne diseases. Major themes in my projects and those of my students include the tick molecular systematics, population genetics, tick-host, and tick-pathogen relations/interactions at the molecular level. In addition, I collaborate with other faculty members on molecular population genetics of other organisms, such as burrowing owls, grass shrimps, and fiddler crabs. |
