Research Interests
I am broadly interested in evolutionary ecology, behavior, biogeography, and systematics. Current research topics in my lab include the role of extrafloral nectaries in the transition of nonnative plants from exotic to invasive species; the behavioral ecology of “wheeling” tiger beetle larvae; homeostasis-mediated phototaxis in crustaceans; and larval development and ecology of hermit crabs and their relatives. |
