Comparative Animal Physiology, Introductory Biology

Research Interests

My research focuses on the physiological and biochemical adaptations of animals to environmental challenges (temperature, oxygen, salinity etc). As a comparative physiologist I'm particularly interested in animal specialists that have evolved unique mechanisms that allow them to live and thrive in extreme and fluctuating environments.
