Research Interests

My research focuses on the community ecology and conservation of our coastlines. Natural and anthropogenic changes to sandy beaches are identified and isolated through monitoring of the physical and biological structure. Current areas of research include: evolution of coastlines from wetlands to beach; influence of wrack on beach invertebrates; effects of human disturbance on community; effects of sea level rise and erosion on community structure.
